Wilds Forlorn is a one man band from netherlands, it was founded in 2008 by Yuri Theuns. He also plays in the band Eater of Souls, that is another solo project of his.
The atmosphere created by him is just mesmerizing, the songs range between harsh black metal and acoustic. They both work so well together, the black metal part is so cold and desolate while the acoustical part is so melancholic and beautiful.
In my opinion the highlight of his music is the piano work, I believe that he does have proper training in the classical piano, different from most black metal bands that use classical instruments but are autodidacts.

I highly recommend this band for everyone.
