Ofdrykkja is a sweden band founded in 2012, the members of the band are The Associate, Bödeln, Drabbad and Pessimisten (ex-Apati).

   Ofdrykkja has only one release, and I think that will be a while until we see new stuff by them due to the problems that some of the band members are facing. This year Drabbad was arrested for cutting another man's finger off, his penalty is of two years in prison. And nowadays Bödeln is on treatment, but he will possibly be out very soon.

   Ofdrykkja means "excessive drinking" in old norse, which says a lot about the theme of the lyrics and the influences of the band. Their sound is very similar to Lifelover and Apati, and in my opinion their album will easily be the best release of the year.
