   Filsufatia is a independent one man band from Malaysia, created by Benign (Deep) in 2005. In 2009 the name of the band was changed to Deep, and was released two albums under that name, but after a few months the name was changed back to Filsufatia.
 His music is so original, it is different from most things you have heard in the black metal scene. In my opinion the highlight of the band is the piano work, it really leads the music and creates an atmosphere so melancholic.

   I highly recommend this band for everyone.

Cheerful Depression - Discography

   Cheerful Depression is a one man band from Lithuania. His first and only album (Cheerful Depression) is really surprising. Everything is great, but the guitar work is just brilliant and different from what you are used to with DSBM bands, and that is what makes Cheerful Depression such a good and unique band.

   One of the most amazing things about this band is that the tracks Night of the Evil Dead and Zombie Apocalypse Black Metal ware recorded using an old broken acoustic guitar with rusty strings, surprisingly the result is great. Definitely you will never see anything like that again, I highly recommend this band for every one.
   Cheerful Depression just released a new split album with the bands Psychonaut 4, Культура Курения and Hovert, soon as I have this album I will upload it here.

     Ea is a very mysterious band, first of all, the members keep their identity unknown. If that wasn't enough their lyrics are written in a dead language which was recreated based on archaeological researches, and the lyrical themes are based on sacral texts from ancient civilizations. Ea is the most enigmatic band I have ever heard.

     Obviously Ea is a original band, of course that their music have similarities with others Funeral Doom bands but at the same time is very unique and creative, you will never find other band like this.

Life's Illusion - Discography

   Life's Illusion is a band from Ukraine created in 2011 by A. Nameless (Xasthuriath), later S. and N. joined her. After recording three rehearsal tracks, both N. and S. left the band, now Life's Illusion is a solo project of A. Nameless.
   In my opinion the best thing about this band are the female vocals, you can really feel her pain, for me she is one of the best female vocalists in the depressive scene. Life's Illusion is a great band for all the fans of underground depressive black metal.
   I recommend this band for fans of Forgotten Tomb, Trist and Life is Pain.

   Inverna is a band from Switzerland that was formed in 2005. All of their musics is self-released, so the quality of the sound is a little poor. But if you are used to listen underground DSBM, then you will find that in most part of the musics the quality of the sound are quite good for a independent band.
   Inverna in italian means something like "hibernates" (for those of you that doesn't know italian is one of the many languages that are spoken in Switzerland). With a name like this there is no need to say how cold and depressive their songs are.
   In my opinion the worst thing about this band is that they are quite unstable, while some parts are pure genius, others are quite simple and unoriginal. But looking at everything, I would say that this band is very good and have great potential.
   The atmosphere created by their music is mesmerizing, for me one of the best things is the use of nature and animal sounds, it helps make everything so melancholic and bleak.
   I recommend this band for fans of Nocturnal Depression, Wigrid and Sterbend.

Hanging Garden - Discography

    Hanging Garden was created by A. Morbid, the band started in 2008 and released two albums before they split-up in 2012. Hanging Garden is very similar to Happy Days, but they are even more romantic, all the lyrics are about heartbreak and the down side of love.
   For me the best thing in this band is the female vocals, but sadly no one knows who she is. In general the band is very good, you just have to take a look at the members to see that this band could only be great, all of them play in various famous depressive bands. But it is not a masterpiece or anything that you never heard before.
   If you are a romantic that have had your share of disappointments in relationships, then you probably will enjoy this.

Cry of Silence - Discography

Genre: Pagan/Depressive Black Metal

Country: Greece

   Cry of Silence is a greek band that was formed in 2006 by Granath (Sarvari), later Tatiana joined him. Their style of music is a mix between pagan and depressive black metal.
   I have to admit that only a few people will be able to enjoy this band, but in my opinion this is a great band. For me the highlight is the painful and cold vocals by Granath mixed with the female vocals by Tatiana, it helps make a more deep and depressive atmosphere.
    Cry of Silence is the perfect mix between depressive and pagan black metal, they have the atmosphere of the depressive and the lyrics and the ideology of the pagan, I wish there were more bands that made such mix between this two great sub-genres.
   I recommend this band for fans of Sterbend, Walknut and Nyktalgia.

NOTE: They have also released a demo called And the Wolves are Howling My Name, but I never found it, so I will not be posting it for download.
