   Life is Pain is a band formed by Kim Carlsson (Hypothermia, ex-Kyla, ex-Lifelover) from Sweden and Trist (Trist, founder of Deep-pression) from Czech Republic, so you would expect that the result of such encounter could only be something memorable. But it is much better than you would imagine, it is simply mind blowing.
   This album is so well made that is impossible to listen and not start having negative thoughts, the depressive atmosphere is just too strong, it drags you in their world of sorrow and misery, than you truly realize that "life is pain".
   This album is a "must have" for every DSBM fan, it is a masterpiece made by two masterminds.

   Kyla was a one man band created by Kim Carlsson (Hypothermia, ex-Lifelover, ex-Life is Pain), and as you can expect this band is truly great, as are Kim's other bands.

   Listening to Kyla's songs makes me feel like I am in a hole, that I have tried to leave for years, and just gave up, accepted the failure, so I stay there feeling the loneliness and the emptiness, just waiting for my end.

   I recommend this band for all the fans of good depressive music.

   I don't even know how a I found out bands like this one, No Pleasure in life is a very unknown depressive band from US with only one demo. The musics they play has nothing new, it sounds like a lot of other depressive bands, but No Pleasure in Life managed to do it very well, you can really feel the agony and the pain.
   I recommend this bands for fans of Make a Change... Kill Yourself, Nyktalgia and Silencer.

   Potemtum Satan is a colombian band, I could not find much information about this band, I do not know when the band started, who the members are and how many albums they have released so far.
   The band call their genre dreamblack metal, but one could say that it is a mix between dbsm and post black metal.
   Honestly I believe that this band has a lot of potential, their music are very original, they bring something different to the depressive scene.
   Potemtum Satan will soon release their next album called Way to My Solitude, it is a split album with the band Dwell in Agony, I am not sure but I think that this will be the first release of the band Dwell in Agony. You can listen to a preview of the new album here.

NOTE: Potemtum Satam have two unreleased songs called Oscura Agonia (download) and Noches Perpetuas (download).

Vinter is an international band founded in 2011 by D. from Honduras, G. Winter from Mexico and Lord M. from Chile.

   For those of you that don't know "Vinter" means "Winter" in swedish, but I have no idea of why a band formed only by members from latin america have a swedish name.

   Vinter is able to create an atmosphere so cold, their songs truly reminds me of winter with all the beauty and desolation that comes a long with it.

   I highly recommend this band for everyone that is fan of good dsbm.

    Nyktalgia means "night pain that occurs in the sleep", and their second album is called Peisithanatos that means "one who persuades for death", with names like that there is no need to say how painful and depressive their musics sounds.
   Nyktalgia's music reminds me a lot of Burzum in their early days, especially Varg's first album (Burzum), but obviously it is more painful and depressive. In my opinion the best thing in this band is the vocals, it is so deep and anguished, you can really feel his pain.
   I recommend this band for everyone, even those who are not fan of DSBM, in my opinion nyktalgia is a "must have" for all black metal fans.

   NOTE: Nyktalgia released a song that is not in any of their albums, it is called Schemes Amathia, and can be found on the bootleg Tormenting Legends II, or you can download it here.

    Psychonaut 4 is a band from Georgia that was founded in 2010. In 2013 the band went on a very short hiatus. Their lyrics are written in Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian and English.
   The "4" in the band's name stands for the number of plateaus in dextromethorphan, and for the those who doesn't know "psychonaut" is someone who explores and study his own subconscious, often through the use of hallucinogenic drugs.
   Psychonaut 4 talks a lot about narcotics, depression and the use of drugs to try to escape the pain, searching for a moment of relief and peace.
   Still in this year they are planing to release two new albums, a split with the bands Cheerful Depression, Культура Курения and Hovert, and another split with the bands Ofdrykkja, In Luna and Vanhelga.
   Psychonaut 4 is one of the most famous and influential bands in the dsbm scene, and I highly recommend this band for everyone.
